Is that more or less difficult than being a rocket scientist?

I’m a big fan of discount tire. Free balance/rotations included and usually in and out in 30 minutes or less

Allied Discount Tires. Tire’s ain’t pretty, they don’t smell good, but you gotta have them. So you’d just soon buy them where they are the cheapest…

Always local. Shop online so you have general idea of pricing. They will usually price match. Hell they can order them from discount tire and get them installed.

I get prices on what I want from all the shops within reasonable driving distance. I also let them know I am calling around for pricing. Often they will compete with each other. On a few occasions I waited a day or two and called the same place for pricing and got a wildly different price.

It is upsetting how ridiculously high everything has gotten. When I priced the Hankook MT2's last fall they were more than double from when I got them 5 years ago. I ended up buying some fake Kelly's. The Kelley Safari MT's are actually Cooper MTP's and don't last like all Cooper MT's. I will be lucky if they make it though January. I am not getting them again. I will go back to Jap tires. They seems to actually understand not every MT goes on a Jeep that stays parked for more than half the year.

Changed out factory tires on my truck at 60,000 miles. Bought a set of Michelin‘s at Discount Tire, the free rotation and balance, I have 76,000 on these. With more tread life. If you buy a new vehicle, bring it by Discount Tire, they will sign up the tire warranty for you.
