What is the survival rate for the bass?

Found this. I guess that is why they dump so many when re-stocking.

Stocked Florida bass fingerlings typically have a first-year survival rate of just 3% to 10% in Louisiana lakes. While natural survival is low due to predation and environmental factors, the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) relies on this stocking strategy to introduce trophy-size genetics into established fisheries.
