Johnson Bayou was stacked. A few short of our limit. Greys and teal ducks. Lots of big ducks but too much shooting going on for them to commit.

We'll I didn't hunt my two blinds. Went wt a friend. My blind in Johnson bayou killed 2 redheads and mix of teal and greys for their 18. My blind in gueydan killed 4mallards 4 greys a pintail couple of spoonies and rest teal for 18. My good buddies blind north of welsh killed 24 teal in 10 minutes. Done before sunrise. I hunted a goose place in laccasine. 4 specks 2 cans and a teal. Should have had a few more geese and ducks. A lot high and there were no duck decoys for some reason. Hunting an excellent goose blind tomorrow and wt weather should be awesome. My two blinds r being hunted by same people tomorrow. All in all great for ducks. Sweetlake boys limited too.

Had a 4 man limit 7:30ish Saturday morning in Creole, other blinds on the lease limited and some others only killed 1 or 2. The birds would get right on the edge of shooting range and then pull a 180, they did not like something about our setup.....

Good birds are down early this year. Pintail and mallards like I've never seen for an opening weekend. Teal and Spoonies are helping a lot of people so that's a good thing. Specks looked like they wanted to work a little more this morning. Didn't want to finish. Interested to see what happens in the morning with a lot less pressure.

I wish we had better luck...we were in gueydan north of 14. Had two groups in two days come remotely close everything was high.very disappointing opener as last year we smoked the teal in same blind. We shall see what happens. Most of the shooting was south towards Klondike. Very few blinds around us shot as well. Going to hunt Friday and got invited to hunt east opener at a buddies place. Hope our blind starts producing.

We hunt a little SE of Gueydan. Saturday we had easy limits with teal and 8 mallards. Could've limited on mallards easily if there hadn't been so much shooting going on. Also, no decoys died this year.
