As does mine.

I'll eat spots, but not large mouth.
Too many other fish taste better.

bass don't really change flavor when they get big like some fish, i normally let them go but sometimes I get hungry lol.

I don't think that is why people release the big ones. I believe it has more to do with letting them go so they can continue to breed, and so that others have a chance to catch a nice one.

I have enough fish in the freezer now so I'm not keeping any this year, don't worry

I typically catch enough catfish on one trip to the river each summer to last me the year, so I rarely keep bass. But I will keep some bream if my ole lady catches some hammers while we are fishing, and fry them bad boys up whole.

Trash fish.
I don't get this. I understand releasing the big ones but 1 and 2 pounders are good eating. Fry'em up!

I honestly never heard about throwing big fish back until reading this board
I grew up catching bass, sacs, and bream to eat. The more meat the better
I still really don’t get the biological science about throwing big ones back.

Here’s a great video that explains some of the science.
Bob Lusk is a professional fisheries biologist and lake management consultant. He’s considered by many to be the nation’s leading authority on private lake management.

You have some dainty hands.
If that fillet came off a 9 lb fish you left about half of it on the fish.
