Keeping squirrels off my peach tree

I have a large peach tree in the back yard and I’m tired of those furry bastards getting my peaches.
Anyone have a good method to keep them off other than shooting them and making a gravy?
I love squirrels, just not city squirrels.
They jump onto the tree from a neighboring live oak.

Shoot them and don’t make gravy?
I shoot any that get close to my house.

Pellet guns work. You can get a plastic owl scarecrow, but I think they laugh at those.

A friend of our family was a farmer, after he retired he planted 1/2 dozen peach trees. He used to sit in his yard with his pellet gun all day every day trying to keep squirrels from eating his peaches.
I’m convinced those squirrels took a few years off his life.

You've got your work cut out for you if you try and eliminate by killin or trapping.
Best way, and only effective way imo, is to trim limbs so they cant jump and to install a climbing barrier on the trunk. If that can't be done then you might as well cut the peach tree down.

The squirrels get a few but the damn deer cleared most of peaches out in one night

Got the same problem. PCP air rifle with a moderator (silencer). I got mine from Talon Tunes. FX DRS w/ Arken 4-16-44 scope. Putting 5 .25 cal JSB hades pellets inside a dime at 35 yards.
Get a PCP air compressor from Vevor tools.
Best thing it’s neighbor quiet.

I got a motion activated water sprinkler for the deer. I think they call them Scare Crows.

I'm going to try some netting this year. Just pruned the tree down really good and its starting to branch out. So i'm going to put the netting on early. Ordered on Amazon for $35

Is yours blooming yet? Mine is in full bloom, worried about what the cold weather this week is going to do to it. I might try putting my tailgate tent over it, tarping around it, then putting a couple of brood lamps underneath.

Get a few mean arse somewhat feral cats and only feed them about 3/4 of what they need to survive.

Shoot squirrels. Clean squirrels. Brown squirrels. Eat squirrels. It's fricking simple. Best tasting game IMO.

Rat terrier dogs, including pit bulls will keep squirrels and rats from your house area. It’s so funny to watch my shelter pit bull go out and immediately scout for squirrels and rats. They don’t chase squirrels out of area but just away from house, barn, garden etc.

Spray peppermint oil mixed with distilled water on and around base of tree 1x a week.

Pie Plate
Tie aluminum pie plates along a string. They should be close enough together to be able to clang against each other in the wind. String the plates across your garden space with two long twigs or stakes.
