K2 Coolers-where to find

Anyone know a dealer in the NOLA area? Seems like the one I want is out of stock online.
I need a new cooler for my boat and the K2 70qt would be perfect. The way the lid opens with the limited space I have is the way to go. I’d love to use my TD special, but it’s just not in the cards.

I still see them at Rouses and I bought one years ago at the backpacker but I heard K2 is going out of business.

Noticed Pierre part store quit carrying them a while back. That’s where I’d gotten mine.
Rogers sporting goods has the blue 70s, new and “blemished”. That’s the only color though.

Jeanfreau's Hardware in Belle Chasse used to keep a nice selection of K2 Coolers however I haven't been in there in awhile. May be worth calling before you make the drive.

That sucks. I have one of the original 60s with the original latch style. It may be from one of their first couple runs they made. Got it at shooters in laffy. I need some new ones to put on it. It’s a great ice chest, but those latches are bleeding black now. Every time you touch them your fingers turn black and is a sum bitch to get it off. Maybe I’ll give them a call today, although I doubt they have those latches. May have to rig something...

That was the first place I looked. However it shows one dealer in Louisiana and when I put in my zipcode it pulls up stores in Nashville. Thats why I asked here, in case people had seem them in local stores.

When you click on the item it says out of stock. Something must be up with K2. I may just get an Engel 80. Similar dimensions.

I won one of the K2 50's at a DU banquet a few years back. It sucks compared to my RTIC. I wouldn't buy one

Thanks for the heads up. I may just roll with an Engel. I really just need something that fits in the space in my boat right, and also can be used as a platform to stand on.
