I’ve had a few but not in the last month
There is a period of time when the hummingbirds change to almost completely an insect diet. I believe this is during the fledgling. Seems like this time period is 2 weeks to a month. They are still around, so don't worry, you will see them back at the feeders soon.

We have more hummingbirds this year than we have ever had. Wife planted several new flower/plants and they are wearing them out. Have not even filled up the feeders
I planted bottle brush bushes a couple of years ago and they were in bloom during migration - they brought it LOTS of hummingbirds. Also planted some purple salvia they like. In the wild when I see coral bean (Mamou plant in Louisiana) there are usually a few hummingbirds around so I started some coral bean seeds this spring to plant under my live oaks. With more flowers around the yard my hummingbird numbers are a lot better than this time a couple of years ago.

To the poster asking about Painted Buntings, they are common around BR if you know where to look.
I used to go to Lake Martin to bird the rookery. Painted Buntings aren't too hard if you hike a bit past the end of the road headed north, after you get to the lake. It helps to know their call - just do an internet search to find examples (or download a birding app - better).

I had a pair show up for a couple weeks in a row, but haven't seen them in a few days now.

Thanks, I've got tons more - been spending a lot of time behind the lens lately. I can never tell how well this board would tolerate song bird / nature pics spam so I don't really hardly ever post, but this thread was too tempting.

Song birds thread
I wouldn’t mind seeing pics, I’m terrible behind the camera but love sitting outside watching birds & squirrels

Well it looks like I may have spoken too soon, I've seen the same pair start showing up again over the past few days (during all the rain).

Put mine up last weekend. Haven't seen any birds yet.
This was my first time putting one up so I guess it may take a while.

Mine has been out for weeks. One hangs right outside our LR window. It is funny watching the hummingbirds hanging on while the feeder is blowing in the wind. They are hungry.

The beginning of a nectar dearth is about to start. Should start to see more and more.

That, and the female is taking nectar to her young, and they start showing up at the feeder eventually. They have 2-3 broods in a season so that's a lot of young birds. And then migrants start working their way south and the feeding really picks up.

We had a cold front blow through yesterday. It was about 50 deg and raining. The bird were wearing our feeders out. They were also sitting on our back porch trying to keep dry. Buzzed me 3 or 4 times as I sat in our spa watching them.
It was so furious we pulled out our 3rd feeder we keep in the travel trailer.

Several years ago when I was living in LaPorte, Texas there were so many hummingbirds we ran out of feeders. I had four feeders out on our patio and it was 10 to 15 birds fighting at each feeder. This lasted for about two days and they were gone.
Here is South Alabama I have 3 feeders, but only one is out right now. They have been feeding off of our Bottle Brush bushes.
