Gotta love when the Taxidermy calls and say's "Farmtiger, we have your mount ready"

I would be VERY worried about a mount that is completed in a week. Look it over meticulously before paying and taking it home.

My family has used this guys for years and I have one at the house already that he's done, plus my BIL and Nephew have some by him. He's a reputable guy.
How ever I would not be surprised if it's a different deer. ha ha

Thanks!! Took him opening weekend and an 8 pt my very next hunt the following weekend.
Never killed a nice deer like that and then kill a 10 and an 8 in back to back hunts. Needless to say I've been on cloud 9 all season!!

My last shoulder mount had to dry on the taxidermist wall for over a week with pins holding the ears, nose and eyelids in place. Thats after they prepared the hide and put it on a form which had to be odered and shipped. Posted on 11/9/12 at 3:41 pm to 007mag
He already had the form and started on it that day. I'm hoping its mine. Will know tomorrow.

It's a nice deer, I hope it's all good. Hopefully Thanksgiving week I'll be the someone shooting deer somewhere in Union Parish.

Most taxidermist allow mounts to cure for a time period.

Pictures don't do him justice!!! When I walked up to pay and saw him he was prettier than I remember him being and he is a beautiful buck maybe not in his antlers but, his coat and face. The guy is a reputable guy and if it's as good as the other work I've seen and have it'll last a long time.
