What makes it a "rock warrior"?

I've got a 99 tacoma I've had since 02 as it was my first vehicle. Still running strong and just my hunting truck now. Been a great truck.

Pretty much the same as the old ones.

In his case, the same as the old ones being that it's a 12.

Good job OP, tundra is a great truck, you'll be happy with it.

Get that second job to keep the gas tank full, they gotta a heck of a passing gear in them. They will pass any and everything on the road except a gas station.

They've also got 17" "rock warrior edition" rims and I think a unique set of bilstein shocks (not sure about the shocks though).

I get 16 mpg in my 5.7L 4x4. It's no ecoboost, but it's not that bad on gas for a truck.

I drive a 2011 and love it as much as the day I bought it. Fuel economy isn't top notch but don't let it concern you. It's a beast and crazy reliable. If a mans that worried about 3-4 mpg diff he should drive a corolla.

Our Tundra turns 16 this year...So it is old enough to drive itself. Rock solid vehicles that will run forever. Congrats on your new ride.

I was looking at buying a TRD rock edition before I got my new truck. It was in NC. Sadly, the dude sold it before we could settle on a price.

I have noticed a lot of them have Bushwacker flares on them. Looks pretty good IMHO

OP made a good decision getting the full sized bed. Now he can throw a toolbox in it
