You think that comparable? At all? Have the people at Savage been fired? Have the machines been replaced?

Smith & Wesson hasn’t been know for quality in many years, every gun they make is second or third fiddle to something else.

The M&P line is top notch. I have 2 and never had any issues through 1000’s of rounds.

Yup, and Beretta controls Ruger now.

Wrong. Ruger still controls Ruger.

This actually changed a couple of days ago.

Beretta had a tender offer for RGR shares.

On the 20th they ended buying 2.4mm shares that gives them 24.9% of the outstanding shares.

Ruger will now most likely have to get them seats on the board.

Up to two.

I ain’t touching shite S&w makes.

The M&P is one of the absolute best polymer striker fired pistols and their 1911s are stellar for the price

They're acquiring Savage because they want to enter the hunting rifle space. They don't have anything remotely like it in their current lineup and acquiring companies is usually better and cheaper than building from the ground up these days

Their lever guns are ugly as hot sin.

It's actually hilarious to see someone thats a Savage fan knocking any other gun as being ugly. Not an uglier action made than a Savage action. Yes they're usually accurate even though they feel like junk and look horrible.

It’s a savage. Even private equity couldn’t frick up that action’s ability to hold a half inch group and double as a meth pipe. They’ll be fine.

The GLOCK never fails....I don't clean mine, never not one misfire!

Great weapon, yet harder to shoot than others for some reason....less accuracy.

I had a pre-merger T/C rifle in .308. It was the most inaccurate rifle I've ever had. Could not hit 8x10 paper consistently at 100yds.

Got rid of it not long after buying it. No way I would ever try to deer hunt with a rifle I had no idea where the bullet was going to go when I pulled the trigger.
