Thinking about buying one. Just feel I need to check this box in life.

Talk me in or out of this please, so I can get off the fence.

You will never use it as much as you want or feel like you need to.

This feeling will develop into resentment and regret.

It will become a shining example of all the poor financial decisions in your life.

You will pray for the day another man hooks it up to their vehicle.

I want one as well. It’s a horrible purchase, but a fun purchase

You need one...I've got a pristine Sea Doo Limited 155 for sale....spent most of it's life in the garage. Low hours...

I bought one. If you live close enough to the water or have a camp it’s worth it. If you’re an hour away it’s not. You’ll use it if you choose to use it. But it’s discretionary spending. If you can afford it go have fun with it. I’d encourage you to buy 2 though because it’s more fun with a group. If you have friends that already have one or have a boat then that works too. I do think people buy them and never use them. I live 10 minutes from the river so we take it out 1-2 times a month during the summer months.

We have two, but we do live on a river.

I ride once or twice a week. It’s a totally different experience than a boat.

Try to buy used, then sell for the same money when you get bored.

We have 2021 yamaha fx and vx. The fx is more comfortable, the vx more nimble I suppose. I prefer the FX.

Be wary of supercharged and their potential issues.

Stay away from Seadoo.

I have a Kawi and a Yamaha and love both.

Jet ski or PWC? I’ve had both, sold both. Obv much younger when had the skis. Prefer the pool at home and floating rivers. If you’re already boating every weekend, it might work out for you.
