Gf’s dad has a couple crawfish ponds with a tree line in the back. I put out some feed last night when we got here. I’m just sitting the ground on the road between ponds, a couple hundred yards from the feed. Had a couple smaller 8’s on camera in the early season but the batteries died and I haven’t had any feed out. Might get lucky though

25* Heavy frost, no wind
.270 Winchester
Box blind with a long range view in both directions. Could see deer crossing yesterday from the stand up the road, hoping they will repeat.

I continue to pick the wrong blind every hunt, hoping to break the streak. Last hunt for nearly 2 weeks.from now.

I went to the wrong stand. I hate cell cameras sometimes. 7:20 at the other stand was a shooter
