Which cam do you use?

Get a Tactacam Reveal. It can run off of either Verizon or ATT. My phone gets one bar of LTE on my land, but the cameras get 2-3 bars.

Very impressed.

I’m in a box behind the house along the west fork of the Amite River. There have been 8-10 here every afternoon. I have my dads old 270. Using his gun to hunt his favorite stand .
My 13 year old is on the other side of the place watching an old beaver pond.
Good luck , tie off and wear orange

4Jr and 4cubed in the box with me.
Junior has his 7-08.
I’m backing him up on a longer shot with Pop’s 35.
Pop has one of my nephews in another stand.
BIL has the other nephew between us. His youngest is trying for his first kill this evening in the same stand 4Jr got his first kill yesterday morning.

I came back out around 1 and started walking. 3 hours later I’m finally settled into a tree. I attempted to walk this entire property to find the freshest sign I could find and ended up just walking forever, passing up good sign thinking that better sign was just around the corner only to just keep walking.

Now I’m in a shitty a spot, but I can see a good bit. Maybe this will work out. Who knows. I’m exhausted.

1 little button buck and 4 doves nibbling around the feeder.

These Ariats are letting my feet get cold. Might have to fire up the buddy!

Box stand with my 4 year old daughter. She and her brother played Rock Paper Scissors to see who would come this afternoon. She’s having a tea party in the stand right now

Went to the lease with a couple of buddies in Webster yesterday but we just set up camp and started drinking and gathering firewood. Nobody got in the stand. Last night it was showing 22 degrees on the thermometer and I was realizing my sleeping situation was not holding up to that kind of cold so I turned on a propane heater in the tent. This morning the frost was so hard it looked like snow. And nobody cared to go get in it while the sleeping bag was so much better. So we spent the weekend on the lease. But not a second was spent hunting deer.

Man, that’s all I do unfortunately and whenever I eventually setup, I second guess it immediately and through the duration.
