Box stand and my buddy heater on low looking over food plot and logging road.

My last hunt for the year, but I did lay the smack down on a really nice 9pt yesterday morning. Good luck gents! (I'll put up a pic of him if anyone wants to see him)

Should’ve duck hunted with my brothers and nephews this morning but I’m in the deer stand. Hung up on one huge buck particular we’ve been seeing on camera.

I saw more green Friday morning from my deer stand than I have the last 2 seasons. Should’ve went w/ them. I’m sure I’ll hear them blasting any minute now

Wind is horrible right now.

I’m taking off tomorrow through Wednesday. Have a meeting at my office at 9 Thursday then I’m going to run home to grab a couple things and hunt until Sunday. That’ll be it for me after that.

Will use my .35 or bow. Looks like we’ll have perfect conditions this week.

Thanks y'all. He's a special deer for me, but then again, any deer I get is special. My grandpaw always told me to treat each deer you kill as if it's the last one you'll get, because it just might be.

No new birds at Bayou Sauvage. Have 1 drake wigeon and have shot at 2 other birds. Terrible morning.

Near Pattison, MS
Cool, clear and Breezy
Mathews Bow
Funnel b/t a bedding area and oak flat separated by a creek
Just had 10 does and yearlings come out of thicket and cross the creek. 6pt and 4 py following.
While typing a doe ran by and 2 different bucks were chasing her. A bigger 6pt and a freaky looking 6 pt.
Woods are alive this morning.
