I have a TFO spinning rod and the ceramic eye inserts always pop out of the guides

Exactly why I am not looking at them in my quest to revamp my fishing gear. I had 4 of them...and it happened on all 4 and some had more than one pop out. I can not re do the guides so I had 3 of them done at a local shop (cost the same as getting a new tfo) and sent one back for a warranty swap. It was a conventional and I am mostly spinning these days so I grabbed a a short lite one. I am going to sell off all 4 once I get my other stuff straight.

Do they make their own guides or something?

No idea, I thought it was something I did but read about it seeming to be common. It still could have been something I did, but they are the only rods I ever had that happen too.

Sorry man, I have never had that problem with my fly rods. I do not own a TFO spinning rod. I hate to hear that about them.

I have always heard there fly rods are great. Maybe it was the ones I had, they are about 5 or so years old. The GTS spinning rods that were non fish type specific.

I have a bunch of 5'6" rods that I will give you. Dont worry about about the 6'6" that is stamped on them.

Do you fish with them? These look good but no dealers anywhere near me to see in person.

I only have one 7'6" one from them. I haven't used it a ton, but I do like it.
