His boat is and I like the 22 over the 20 a lot! Tt rides better and handles water better, also his with the 175 scoots. We ran about 52 or so with fishing load. If you going aluminum go bigger, His 22 is night and day better then the 20 I had.

I've seen an RP190 fishing in Bayou Black before. They look very nice. the RT198 uses the same hull I believe.

I bought the H22 Bay with the 150 on it late last year. Been out with it about 8 times so far and have zero complaints. It runs ~48mph but I cruise comfortably at 40. Great gas mileage. Had it in rough water once in Cocodrie and we got sprayed a little heading back into the wind but no big deal. I've got wet in glass boats too.
This is my first boat and I love to fish both fresh and salt. But since purchasing the boat I realized I fish WAY more fresh than salt so I'm thinking about selling it to buy a bass boat.
Stock pic:
This one has the SHO on it. Mine doesn't. And I have the matching blue Talon on mine.

Clark Wendlent was fishing out of the aluminum ranger center console on tv this weekend. It looked pretty decent but he needed more motor.

If I could just get over the feeling that I'm sitting on top a 6ft ladder when driving it I'd probably keep it. I'm just more comfortable sitting down IN a boat, if you know what I mean. That's really the only drawback personally. And I have the seat that has the back rest and foot rest so I can sit down to operate it as opposed to just a leaning post. Idk.

Nice boat
I'm stuck between buying a used 18' express bass boat or a custom 20' bass/bay hybrid. I fish mostly salt inshore for redfish, but also fish fresh a good bit. Cant make a decision.

That was exactly my dilemna.
Wanted a boat to set lines in, bass & perch jerk, and also run down for reds & specks in the marsh.
Went back and forth on a bass boat, but didn't want to fight the carpet and lack of space. This came up on Craigslist on Wednesday and I own it today.
Perfect boat for what I need. I have two little girls so they can easily and comfortably ride. It can fish them both in the middle and my GF can fish off back deck too.
Bigger than it looks. I am pumped up to take it out.

If you are interested in a like new 2012 17ft Xpress bass boat they have one in Walker.
Dude didn't advertise at all on CL or Sportsman, I found his ad in the Advocate.
Price is REALLY good and the pictures I got from him the boat is in pristine condition. I'd look into it if you want a deal. I would have bought that one if this didn't come up.
