I have a Leupold VX5 hd 3-15x44 on a .308 rifle of mine.
I think it’s about the perfect hunting scope.
This one has to be extremely close to the Leupold.

Seems to be my other option. Not sure how the newer models compare to older. Alot of the Leupold out of stock too.

Just got the same scope in Wednesday. It’s quality - I don’t regret my purchase!

I don't own a Meopta but they have a solid reputation. In this day and age those are just about impossible to keep if you're putting out a bad product.

I haven't seen many people mention the new Trijicon line, and the non-illuminated reticles are in that price range. I took a chance and put one on a new Tikka .270, and it's extremely nice glass. I'm no optics expert, but I have to put it side-by-side my Razor to tell the difference, and even then it's so slight It may be in my head.

I’ve been hunting with that exact scope on my .270 for a couple of years. Love it.

I believe the VX5's and 6's are all 30mm tubes...some are 34mm for the LR versions

Yea that’s what I thought about the 5’s and 6’s. I didn’t know they made a 34mm

I emailed them about their military discount. Gonna wait and see what they say but I will most likely go this route either way. I like Leupold but they getting pricey.

They make good scopes, but I'm not sure they make good scopes for the money.

I have several VX3i. Not made anymore and the newer models about $200 more then what I paid. I really want a gloss scope to match my Winchester but they are not made anymore.

I've never owned nor shot a Meopta, but a hunter on another forum who's opinions I respect speaks very highly of Meopta.

Look on gunbroker, found a gloss Vari-X for my 243 to match the blueing. Emailed with the seller, everything was good to go, very happy.

Just kind of hesitant to buy something so old and have to deal with warranty crap. Wish the new ones had the option.

the seller had a picture of the serial on GB. Ran it through Leupold's website and it matched the scope in the ad. They honor their warranty no matter who owns it.
