Time to replace my golf cart batteries. Is it worth shopping around or will the savings be minimal?

I had a buddy suggest that as well. Are they better than the US batteries or whatever the cart places carry?

I’d stay away from US. I had some and they didn’t last long. Pretty much same story for everyone else I know that had em. Trojan is worth the extra money.

Either spend the money and get Trojan or save some money and get Duracell.

I’ve had my Duracell for about 4 years and don’t do anything special maintenance wise, and have had no problems

Expensive up front. Last a long time on a full charge.

If it’s 48v, then 8 6v batteries.

Let me know if you can find 8v ones for less than $200 each. I need 6 and almost threw up when I went to buy 6 of them at Costco the other day to replace mine.

Sam’s has them for about $130 each. I went to a local cart place that said for the us batteries it was $1100 for the set. I asked about Trojans and they said it’s the exact same battery which I thought sounded off so I walked out.

There was a guy in the same shopping center as Jerry Lee`s who did wholesale batteries. Might be worth a shot.

I got a used fleet cart that was 5 years old with original Trojan batteries. I went with Trojan again last month when I replaced them. $960 for 6 8v batteries.

I also did an AC conversion to it so it goes 28-30mph .
