Baw, you’ve never been taught to not lean against anything when you shoot. Your shoulder takes the brunt of the recoil. If it can’t move, it will break.

over/under browning good for 3 inch shells works for me. the third shell allowed in a pump/auto is useless

Correct.
The 375 kicks less and I never shoot it more than a few times.
I've watched my buddy dump a box full of 3.5" steel shot at skeet one day. Nooooooo thankya

A300 20 ga. Not sure what they go for now but got a couple for $800 a few years ago.
ETA. Agreed with all the non 12 gauge thoughts. I have 8 cases of 12 ga shells I counted yesterday which really annoys me. I haven’t shot my 12 in years and need to work through that stack somehow.

Go chase a stubborn duck through some buckbrush after rushing out of the blind and get back to us on this.

Waterfowl hunting with a O/U or sxs is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Makes me cringe when customers bring them, drives me nuts.

Plenty of good guns out there, but I’d recommend a 3.5” 12 gauge whatever you choose.
Why? you only need this if you don't have a good spot are are sky busting
You don't have to use 3.5's but IMO it's nice to have the option if you ever want to.

Yea, if youre getting a 12ga no reason to not get a 3.5"
None of my friends ever seem to have issues with low brass light loads in their SBE's.
