I am. Did you have your boat at the Atchafalaya Sunday? Was going to LC and it looked like you down under the overpass.

If you hunt ducks in a cypress swamp, what are they eating?
Sweet potatoes...
SHHHHHH

A lot of times you'll find duckweed. Cypress Break + duckweed = gray duck
Duckweed in a true cypress brake is like crack for Grey Ducks. Never really put the hammer down on a lot of Green in one. Mostly a Grey/Woodrow mixture. Now mix in button willows and cypress trees and we are moving the needle toward a Mallard beatdown.

I hunt at my Grandfather's land in Loreauville and it's mostly Wood ducks. Every time I clean them they have cypress balls, don't really know the name of that, in them.

Like others have said its mostly grey ducks and woodies feeding on duckweed. I know a spot that floods when the river comes up and there are huge mats of floating acorns and fills up with green heads.
