The new CZ striker gun may be worth looking at.

HK VP9, HK P30 LEM v1, Sig 226, Walther PPQ. Walthers are not a very popular gun. HK's are great guns right along with the sig.

I've shot roughly 750 shots through and haven't had any issues. Fires like a charm every time.

About 200 or so rds were steel case too, and it handled it all no problem. Like I said. You won't be disappointed with the vp9. It's absolutely fantastic

How are you coming to the conclusion that the VP9 and PPQ are on opposite ends of the spectrum? Did you just write whatever sounded good?

PPQs may not be as popular as a g19 but I would argue they are just as popular as the VP9. They are extremely similar guns especially when you compare the m1 Ppq to the vp9. Mags are similar capacity and similar price as well.

I absolutely love my VP9. My other handguns I normally do a trigger job on them except my VP9. I haven't touched that thing and it shoots great. Really wish the US Army would have gone with this weapon or a Glock instead of the SIG. I have fired all the handguns you've listed and the VP9 is by far my favorite.

now this is good

Ergonomics are almost identical between the guns
Triggers are almost identical (VP9 trigger has smoother take-up and break - PPQ has superior reset)
VP9 has steel sights, PPQ has shitty polymer sights

besides the sights, the guns are almost identical, but you have the VP9 in 1st and the PPQ last

My ranking would be:

VP9
PPQ
P30

You cant really lump the P226 in there because it's so different from the others. You can't throw an alloy frame DA/SA in there with 2 polymer-framed striker-fireds and a polymer-framed LEM. Both the HK and the 226 are in the top tier of their respective categories, and the PPQ is right there with the VP9 (assuming we're strictly talking stock)

yup, i just wish the reset had a little more "umph" behind it like the PPQ or the M&P Apex trigger. sick gun that doesnt require any mods though. If im buying a stock gun and not doing anything to it all, give me the VP9 LE all day

Haven't shot one but seems to have a higher bore axis, same trigger pull, and longer reset than the glock. Not sure why it would be better. I'm w/ you on the military just picking glock and not wasting all that damn money though.

Not sure why people are so hung up on this. How often do you hear of or see a broken sight on a PPQ? Maybe like four times on the whole internet

IIRC, the PPQ was modeled after the P30, and the VP9 was modeled after the PPQ. I still want a P226 MK25 though

It's not necessarily just that the sights are polymer. It's that their presentation is very bad - very shallow rear aperture with a very small front sight dot.

But this is easily remedied with a set of trijicon HD sights. The PPQ is still excellent.
