I'm not getting a new one until I need to pull a boat too big for my current truck, absolutely need more passenger room, or it dies. So not for a while

I'm late to this...haven't read past the first few posts and I know that 90-95% of the posts above mine are bashing both trucks and probably more bashing the Ram than the Titan.

FWIW, the Ram is on par with the F150 if you're looking at higher trim package. I don't care what anyone says...it is. GM is falling behind big time.

But, Titan vs. Ram? Easily Ram. Yes, I'm biased...big deal. But look at the facts: the Titan is the same truck that came out in 2003/2004. The Ram is in it's 4th year of a major refresh. The Ram is just a better truck than the Titan right now, period. And I rank the Ram 2nd behind Ford in terms of half tons. I love my 2011...even though I'm about to get out of it and into a Challenger SRT8...but that's purely personal preference bc my dad is offering me his car. I've had 0 issues with my truck after over a year and a half of ownership and 28,400 miles.

Go test drive all the trucks you are interested in and pick the one you like best, all things considered.

Or just buy my truck when I put it up for sale (fingers crossed my dad doesn't back out of this deal, lol).

ETA: And any questions you have regarding the Ram, ask me. I'm the designated Ram guy around here.

Get one that will last you the longest(best resale)

Meh. Resale shouldn't factor that largely into the truck you buy. No matter what kind of truck you get, it's gonna depreciate a shite-ton in it's first couple of years. I know KBB isn't worth a crap...but they have my truck worth a little more than $27,000 in excellent condition (it's damn near that). Really not terrible...given I was out the door after TT&L for a little over $36,000.

ETA: Laugh all you want, we've done this before. Post pictures of a GMC Denali interior, Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn interior, and an F150 King Ranch interior. The Ram and F150 looks miles ahead of the GMC...

ETA2: It's also funny because none of you have even sat inside of any Ram, much less a loaded out 2010-2013 model.

Link fail. You also tried to link a 3500 Laramie.

You need to link a 1500 Laramie and a 1500 Laramie Longhorn. Those are the two trims that compete with Lariat and King Ranch.

This is the updated (2013) Laramie interior:

Right, because every Ram that rolls off the lot is going to lose it's paint within a year. Mine is over a year and half old...paint looks great. My old 2004 was 7 or 8 years old when I sold it...paint also looked great. Guess I got lucky, huh? GTFO.

Okay, well I can clearly see you've reverted to troll tactics because you know you are wrong. Good discussion.
