They are basically at the top of their food chain.

They take it all in, and that is where it stays. Until humans eat tuna.

But once a week won't kill us. So for the purpose of this thread, I went with specs.

Dude, the risks associated with that stuff is based on exposure to lots of mercury or PCBs. Tuna will not hurt you unless you eat it for every meal, you're eating some really contaminated fish, or you're pregnant. The Japanese would be extinct.


All fish contains SOME methylmercury, and

quote:

Tuna originating in the U.S. was generally lower in mercury than imported fish.
