This mornings kill. Better weight is around 35lbs. Took out a few pounds from the shot.

.270 BT hand load 130gr. Moving around 2750 FPS.

Did a BP skin/clean job on this one due to blowing the hell out of it.

Back at it.

Same tripod as this morning. Haven't seen a buck yet this trip. I see does and I see fawns and I know the does didn't impregnate themselves so wtf?

Been three times and seen deer each time. 2 spikes but no racks yet. Not unusual for where I hunt though as things don't really get cranked up until mid January. Season goes out here Sunday and resumes on December 10. Get 10 extra days in February this year

IL same stand I have been in last three hunts.

27 degrees, 30 mph N wind with serious gusts, no idea how strong but strong

recurve in hand, already seen a 120 or so buck and a few does. Deer movement has been amazing, have set my standard, if won't make B&C not shooting. May not pay off in the long run but I have seen the buck I want just have to get him within 30 yards....

Warau I understand that and all but we have them on camera walking the field edges during daylight. It's like they saw my truck pull into town and went nocturnal.
