I've got 5 and they ain't never slowed me down other than I don't get to hunt certain stands when one is with me. The oldest now is old enough to hunt by her self.

I told my wife when we got married I hunt and fish before and I'll hunt and fish til I die with or with out her.

She probably going to quit working for a year or so.Thats either going to help me or hurt me she could want a break on the weekends or she could see i work hard and i deserve some time to go hunting.

Really depends on the woman but the #1 complaint is "You've been off playing in the woods and I've been here with the kid(s)".

To keep the peace I use to just make morning hunts when I was hunting 10 min from home. Now I'm over an hour away so weekends are usually one full day hunting and no hunting the next day. Hope your woman has a hobby

Better do what you can while she is pregnant.

Just do like I did, kiss arse all you can when you're home and do as much as possible for her and the kid...then don't feel bad when you leave her to hunt every other weekend.

My daughter is 7 weeks old. I think alot will depend on how soon your child gets on a regular sleep schedule and sleeps through the night. Mine is not sleeping at all and we are both exhausted all the time. I don't think I would leave her all day on the weekend when I already leave her all day during the week. I went to one LSU game this year and came back to some dirty looks and a cold shoulder after a day of tailgaiting.

This is the right answer. Your family is more important than sitting in a tree every weekend.

It jammed me up that first year. This is the second, and it impacts it, just not as much.

My wife birthed our twin boys in april of 2011. Totally shut down my hunting last season... got back in the stand saturday with a mandate from the wife to return with groceries! Killed a doe just as i was about to climb down from the tree. Wife is going next weekend to get one for herself! God bless a woman who loves to hunt, fish and go to LSU football games!

Cant wait till the boys are old enough to go hunting. We each get to take one!
