Have you tried rubbing fresh beaver beaver around the base of the trees you want him to naw on? That seems to work for some.....

I had beaver issues at the lake house all the time. The love small sapling fruit trees. So just plant one you don't want him to bother and he'll gladly ignore your wishes.

But in general they prefer hardwood over softwood

After my beaver has had too much hardwood multiple days in a row, it hopes for some softwood so it can relax a little. It usually uses the excuse that it has a headache.

If you knew what I knew, you’d shoot that son of a peckerwood dead in his melon and let the catfish eat him. Them some destructive and hard to kill bastards.

Seriously though how big are your trees and what type? You'd be better off just cutting them down if they are under 5 inches in diameter.

Cherish your beaver.
You will miss it when it leaves.

Mostly Winged Elm and a little Oak.

What gets me is how destructive beavers are but this one wants no part of the elm or oak.

Sounds like the girth of your wood isn’t big enough for that beaver.

you cant get them to do as you wish, they are wild animals that go on instincts to make decisions, even if you do get him to come in your yard odds are 100/1 he just eats the one tree you want to save and leaves.

just stop being lazy and cut your own trees down
