We killed 2 last weekend down south. Both were 5.5’+. They’re definitely out and about.

What is the point in killing them if you are not starving and going to eat them? Just wear snake-proof boots and watch out for them. Eastern Diamondbacks are not aggressive and just want to be left alone.

With that said; frick a Cottonmouth!

My brother has a 5 year old and a toddler, I have a little one on the way. We all have dogs. We bring them down there regularly. The slim chance one of them comes in contact with one of those bastards is more than enough reason for me to kill every one I see.

Or shoot them.

Its like you people cheer for lightening because it has a good purpose at times and it rarely hurts people.

He was a casualty of the rut, found him dead in our tank. LarryGooseman went and fished him out for us

I made a thread about tying him up to a tree to decompose and the gamecam pics of the critters eating him a couple months ago. This was the final product.

Yeah, my mother in law's ex lives just outside of there. I haven't been through there in years except on the way to the beach if we take that road. It is definitely a good old boy network type of place.

They're cool snakes. I don't really get all the fear and hate. Personally, I'm not interested in living in a cushy world where there is nothing "dangerous." The reason I spend time in nature is to experience it. And I don't like the Disney version.
