I can remember the 1990,s PC game,
“ Wolfenstein “

If you used the Cheat code, you knew where that big German man was hiding.

There was once an Honor code on Public land. The average honor’er did not go in there and mess u up, even though it is public. The better guys even honored your spot on a day he not sure you there.

Today, the ones looking for the cheat code, be-friending you to get you to say ‘ what you seeing ‘ then like it or lump it, he goes in.

Squirrel season is legal and open. Since
the ville platte cheat code seeker does not care about all that time you put in in February, and Labor day gaining intel, all the time cooped up in camp away from your family , hours driving, gas, time, and just wants to cash in on your hard work, i say, its time for full time squirrel hunting. Darn i miss alot. Bad shot i guess.

I think you just like to post and get a bunch of downvotes but I’ll play.
So you say “hard work” you scouted and found sign. And they found said sign as well and are hunting it??!
You think that just because u found it and it’s “ your spot” then everyone should honor “your spot” ?
I mean any place and I have hunted some great places has about 10 spots on 1000ac or so that will be where 90% of the deer are. And it normally takes about one season to learn a place and from there on the spots that have deer will continue to have deer hell there’s a reason some ol baw put a nailed up board stand 25-40yrs ago at almost every good spot you find.

I squirrel hunt to find deer sign. Consider this an opportunity to walk new ground.

No they did not. Only after bird dogging me did he go back there. Lazy can’t learn on his own pos. Thats alright though. No bucks will be killed there this season. It is what it is . This lazy bum is counting on the usual curl your lip, pout and give up hunter to abandon. Hoe Lee Chit did he misjudge response.

A hardcore hunter would be in the woods hunting instead of bitching about public land hunters on the Internet...

No, a hard core hunter who already did his work, and an un-controllable factor such as this entered the equation, would recognize this as an un-controllable issue.

This premise kinda highlights you as Not a hard core hunter because you posted said quote above.

Gave yourself away , Cap

Will Primos and Preston Pittman could team up on a La pub land for a turkey hunt and would not get a kill if some french heritage idiot walked in on their set up every hunt. Un-controllable factor

Many are incapable of successfully hunting, and like alot of facets in life today, are looking to benefit easy on someone elses work.

Sounds like he did get you to abandon it.
I haven’t hunted public in over ten years but when I did.
I would drive my boat on the bank and smash grass acting like I was hunting a spot leaving tel tale clues, but hunt other plces but never let the boat hit the bank and tie off. Walk sloughs for long ways before crossing, make fake rubs and scrapes and smash through briars to look like I went one way then go another. Park on one side the road truck facing one way but cross the road and walk 200yds from my truck before going in the woods.
It’s public land and that’s just how it is, if the ol boy from mamou sucks at hunting that bad he’s gonna push that buck somewhere else with enough pressure…

Is it legal to shoot a squirrel off a moving E-bike? Asking for a friend.

Not how it used to be. We had an honor code and everyone got along.

You could say its like the older gen went to work and EARNED their way up the ladder.

Today many , and also some of our older gen, are looking for the easy lazy shortcut, hence the intrusion based on what he sees other successful hunters dragging out. This individual is 77 years old, and without being biased, he is from the heritage that does not pronounce the H, and says that more than 1 deer is deers. The ice “ tar’ed” out.

Public land 101 you should have known to account for other hunters and use their pressure to your advantage. Keep trying, maybe with more experience, you’ll get there.

Another wrong reply. Whenever you are ready to compare public land taxidermy, with proof , you come see me son.

And its spelled out in post # 1. You cannot even read son.
