Help me pick mine and the GF's new carry guns

Pick 2 of the 3. Give me some details. Money ain't a thing. If two of the same is the best bet then so be it. But I enjoy variety.
1. Glock 42 .380
2. Kahr PM9
3. Beretta PX4 Storm
I was very excited about the glock for her but have read some awful reviews. Anyone have one?
The Kahr is something I am not familiar with so details on that would be great.
I have a Beretta 90-two but it's too big to carry. I love it and it's fun to shoot so that Is why I asked about the PX4.
Sorry no pics on the lady.
I appreciate any input.

Those are awful options, I'll say two Kahrs if I had to pick from that list.

1. Glock 42 .380
In my humble opinion, this one is too big dimensionally for a 380. You can get an equally powerful 380 (same length barrel) in pocket-sized form. The only upside to a larger 380 is less felt recoil. So if you have wrist issues or your wife is extremely recoil sensitive (something that training can fix) it would be an okay choice.

2. Kahr PM9
I essentially have this gun in the Kahr CM9. It is dimensionally identical to my PM9 with only a few different details. It has been a great firearm for me (3000+ rounds) and is with me quite often. The upside to this gun is that it's a single stack pistol and probably the smallest reliable 9mm on the market. The downside is that with a single stack gun you get less ammo capacity. But with this reduced capacity you get thinness, which equals comfort.
That's all concealed carry is - a balancing act between capacity and comfort.

3. Beretta PX4 Storm
If you're talking about a full sized gun, I would not get this for carry. The fact that it's a full sized gun is a downside, plus it has a slide-mounted safety which comes with its own quirks.
Ultimately the decision is up to you. Only you can hold each one and feel which is right. You also left a lot of good options off your list (Shield, XDs9, etc.). So asking for a suggestion is good, but buying it is another thing.
Also, let your wife pick HER OWN gun. She will be more likely to actually use it if she selects it. If she has not fired a lot of handguns before, start her on a full sized 9mm or 22 to learn how to handle recoil and muzzle blast. Tiny guns are NOT fun to shoot. They serve a specific purpose - portability.

I say replace the PM9 with two CM9s.
LINK
Money is not a thing for you, but a sexy Concealed gun is well....concealed. A pm9 is almost $300 more for nicer slide machining, polygonal barrel and an extra mag.
I'm not a fan of G42 since it is .380. If I had to take .380, it would be the smallest i could find....maybe a Ruger LCP.
If money ain't a thing, as you say.....maybe you could put a Kimber Solo in that mix. It's only an ounce heavier than a PM9.

A. Scratch .380's from your list. No matter what else you read or hear, the 9mm is not just a little better, it's a lot better (more effective) at stopping bad guys.
B. There are a lot of good reasons to get both guns with the same operating controls/manual of arms. Mixing guns with manual safety (like the Beretta) with guns having no external safety isn't a great idea.
C. Scratch guns with manual (external) safeties from your list -- unless she tends to fiddle around with guns. If that's the case, scratch her from the list until she gets a lesson in gun safety and some experience.
D. Not sure how you formulated your list. But RELIABILITY should be your primary (and secondary, and tertiary) concern. For out-of-the-box reliability you should focus on Glocks, M&P's and H-K's. Kahrs are fine guns, but require several hundred rounds through them for break-in (according to the owner's manual).
E. Do not base your choice on reviews in gun magazines, reviews on youtube (probably the worst option of all), and opinions expressed on this or any other internet forum. Go find out out what law enforcement agencies issue -- this is usually your best clue as to reliability.
F. After you narrow your list to three or four makes of reliable guns, you can pick based on your personal preferences, or can just go "eeny, meeny, miney, mo."
G. My comments qualify as free internet advice, so you can ignore it as well.

If either of you has to use one of your guns do you have the name and number of an attorney you can call right then? Day or night?

chick - a small hammerless revolver, if it's in her purse there's no reason to worry about a misfire because the slide catches, etc.
dude - hard not to recommend a 3" kimber .45 - they're so slim, lightweight...but the price may be a huge turnoff.

A lot of people default to revolvers for women. While you have a good point about the functionality of a revolver, they fall short in a couple of areas:
1. Capacity
2. Trigger pull
3. Sights
4. Recoil (bore axis is much higher than a semi auto)

45s also give you a very low capacity in a compact gun. But that's up to the user. For the most part, 9, 40, and 45 all do the same thing so it's up to the user.
