Hopefully he's bobbing around on the surface in his BC. Do divers carry strobes, whistles or other attention getting devices?

I always have a whistle and a 4 ft i flatable red sausage. I would think he pbly hit his head. Would imagine a lot of turbulence as u go up in 6-7 footers

His name was Chet and he was from the Sea Serpents club not hell Diver's. Club is out of Alexandria area. Sad day as I talked to him last week about diving and making some trips in the future. Damn Feds give us such bad season that people do stuff they know they shouldn't but have only one chance to go. I'm praying and hopin for the best.

Actually the season is just ending. Was 3 days. Everyone heading out in marginal conditions cause that's the only opportunity they have this year
