Looking at going get the beast by browning. Does anyone know if heberts will come down on price at all for all cash payments? Also, does anyone know if heberts or anyone else delivers the safes?

Mike ward's is the go to safe place. Best deals, delivery, and awesome customer support.

Soon as I get my fat boy Jr sold, I'm getting another from them.

Hebert's won't get another dime from me. Piss poor service at the highest level over there. Its not likely that they'll come down on cash prices but I can tell you they won't deliver the safe but they do recommend a service to do it.

Mike Wards sells liberty, browning, and two other brands that I think are owned by liberty.

No amsec or Cannon.

I have had the opposite experience. My wife went in there, by herself, and said she was treated great. Bought her carry pistol on her own and was not treated like an idiot and noone was pushy. That IMO is the tell tale of a gun shop, for a woman to walk in alone and not be treated like a dumbass. She has now bought not only her gun but 3 more 1911's for presents for me and has been treated the same every time. I don't normally defend posts like this but to me this is exceptional.

I got my Liberty colonial safe from them. Very good group of people to deal with. One thing for anyone going there is look for their scratch and dent sales. I bought one with supposedly a scratch on the top inside of the door. I say supposedly because I can't see it. They knock a TON off to sell it so keep an eye out on them.

Heberts treated me very well on a purchase last year.

I'm a little let down by Mike Wards. My colonial 50 was only about 9 months old when it took on 36" of water in the flood. They wanted to charge me $800 to repair it, which I was game for, until they told me no more warranty. no help at all. loved the safe, but will have to take my business elsewhere for a new safe. I heard that Canon was helping much more on flooded safes. Not sure about Browning.

let down by Mike Wards

Here is my 100% truthful flood experience.

My dad had his Cannon safe at my house during the flood. They took on 8' and we got 24" (thought we would stay dry). I called Cannon and they only asked for a few pictures and the serial number. They were overly apologetic that it would take 3-4 months to get him a new safe.
Cannon called about a month later and told me (I did the process for him) that his safe was no longer offered. The new safe would have dual locks (mechanical and electronic) and if that was okay.
Cannon called about a month after that and said that they could have the safe to my house in a month, or a bigger, newer safe at my house in 2 weeks and the option was mine.
Safe was delivered to my house, brand new on Wednesday.

I called Liberty about my Fat Boy Jr. They transferred me to the sales dept. to buy new sheetrock and carpet.

I went to Mike Wards and told them what happened. They are running a sale/program for flood victims. They will sell me a safe at 25% UNDER dealer cost since my Liberty flooded.

They are not the manufacture, but are doing the best they can, IMO.

If anybody can help me price a Fatboy Jr. safe that was flooded, please email me. I cannot imagine its worth more than $500, but want confirmation. IceCreamSammich@hotmail.com

I'm happy your wife enjoyed her experience. It's likely she had a good salesman which they do have there, but I'm referring specifically to ownership, CJ and Nancy (married owners) are damn near subhuman in my opinion. The experience was so bad that if either of them were drowning I'd toss them a barbell. Also CJ takes direct control over a potential safe sale so you wouldn't even be dealing with one of the salesman in that case.

I dont doubt it. Their offices are across the hall from one another. Rather than having arguments behind closed doors they'll have no problem yelling obscenities across the hall from one another and will be quick to let you know who owns the place if you have something to say about it.

I had the same experience... I know cannon aren't top of the line but it fits my needs perfectly. They earned me as a customer for life

Went by Mike Wards today. They have a new shipment of Brownings and they offered me free delivery ($200) on one bc I had cash. Ended up with a Liberty knocked down bc it had a "scratch"...I can't see it but if I find it I'll put a yeti sticker over it!
