Yall hated on me last week for this post but now after the Vandy loss everyone wants BK gone all of the sudden? How did yall not see this coming. 2-3 more losses will occur as well
Kiffin nearly left Ole Miss for Auburn in 2022. He wants to build on his legacy and would absolutely leave ole miss for Florida job. I think its a done deal myself

Get your pen and paper ready

We should all write letters to Brian Kelly telling him how amazing this Penn State job is and how he shouldn't pass up this opportunity. Perfect scenario to get rid of him without a buyout.

Lsu will definitely lose to Vandy. Be lucky to beat South Carolina next week with that offense, but this Vandy team is better than us no doubt

Appreciate it guys. Just ordered an impeller and thermostat and will see what happens. Last time it was water pump related I was put into limp mode so it really has me baffled as boat is running without issue

Good point. Was trying to rule out what the alarm comes on for but sounds like overheating is only reason it triggers

2000. Oil manually mixed with gas

re: Help with outboard

Posted by kennahbra on 7/14/24 at 8:44 am to
Yes strong pee. Start it on hose and water is coming out cool as well.

I should also mention that fuel filter on motor doesn't have an electrical wire so it can't be that either

Help with outboard

Looking for some advice. Have a 2000 Yamaha 60 hp. Was out crabbing last week and while traveling at low speeds the boat alarm came on but when I got on throttle it ran perfect and no alarm. Thought I may have had water in fuel so this week added a yamaha fuel water sepaerator and new fuel filter. Took the boat out yesterday and ran it for about 25 mins in which it ran perfect, park it at launch to back truck in. Get back in it start it and boom alarm comes back on at idle. Water pump, thermostat, and impeller were replaced less than 2 years ago, not experiencing any type of limp mode, oil for fuel is manually mixed in tank, and I don't think this model motor has a popit valve so I'm not sure what it could be. Would low oil pressure trigger the alarm and would oil pressure only be low at low speeds on a manually mixed 2 stroke? Could the alarm itself be faulty?
Just added one of these fiberglass kettles with water feature and want to add the goldfish. Where are yall getting the lillys or water plants from and which work best on north side of house with alot of shade?
Ole baw puts cream cheese in his pastalya. He should of been arrested a long time ago

I haven't been to PAC since before IDA and plan to make a trip this week. Is Big Bayou Blue still open and is grand bayou canal still passable?

Prevent Gumbo Spoilage

Why do seafood gumbos spoil? What do you all do to make sure it doesn't happen to you? I've never had one spoil on me but heard horror stories and want to make sure I steer clear

Hardwood- Where to buy?

Posted by kennahbra on 1/4/21 at 12:16 pm
I'm new to woodworking and I have been having to order hardwood off of amazon to make cutting boards. Does anyone sell it around the river parishes area?
Just a follow up...I ended up building the frame and buying the swing from all wood furntiture as suggested above. Bought stain from Sherwin Williams tinted the same color as the doors on my house. Here's the finished product

Need swing and frame for mothers day

Posted by kennahbra on 5/7/20 at 6:34 pm
I need help. The wife wants a wood swing and frame for mothers day. Can come unfinished and yes I know I waited way too long to find one. I went look at a couple at ace hardware and they look terrible. Who sells them around Gonzales, baton rouge, kenner, metarie, or Hammond?

re: Boat bogging down issue

Posted by kennahbra on 5/28/19 at 4:37 pm to
ok so I had some time to walk down everything from tank to motor...drained all fuel in the line then took motor cover off and pumped the ball....there is a hissing sound coming from either carb #2 or #3 can't tell. as soon as line is pressured up and ball gets hard it stops, boats starts right up and idles strong. What is the hiss coming from the carb? Im by no means a mechanic, but i did have all 3 carbs rebuilt last year, could it be a gasket that has now failed?

Boat bogging down issue

Posted by kennahbra on 5/25/19 at 10:49 am
2001 Yamaha 2 stroke 60HP. Boat started right up and idled great but as soon as you try to give it throttle it bogs down and can't get up. Went home and drained all the fuel then put fresh, changed fuel line, filter, fuel/water separator filter, added in sea foam, and put brand new spark plugs. get to the launch and same thing starts right up like a top but try to give it throttle under a load and it can't get up any ideas?

re: Irrigation advice

Posted by kennahbra on 10/24/18 at 11:12 am to
Well there's an interesting response.
1) it's already done, I am just looking for best way to set the rotors
2) it wont cost any more money in water. I was already watering with above ground sprinklers. The benefit of this is that its automatic so takes none of my time and can run early in morning before daylight which is better for the grass
3) during peak season I cut every 3 to 4 days. It's what it takes to have a beautiful lawn

Here are videos I used:

wire timer to manifold

how to install manifold

directions from rainbird

I did a 3 zone system...two of the zones have 4 32sa rotary heads at the four corners and cover whole yard across front. Then I used the 1800 series spray heads to cover the two sides of my house (3 heads one side two on the other but connected to single zone). I used 400 ft of 3/4" pvc pipe total to run the system. Was not a hard job took me a couple days but i was one man with some help can do it in a day hardest part for me was that I had to tunnel under a 4' walkway 3 times!! Twice for water pipes and once for power from wifi controller to valve manifold

Irrigation advice

Two weeks ago I got on YouTube and figured out how to run an irrigation system. It has 3 zones with 4 heads per zone and rolls pretty good. My question is how much are you guys watering established lawns in south la and as it gets colder are you all slacking off? I am currently running one zone at a time starting at 4:30 am every Monday Wednesday and Friday for 10 minutes per zone

Boat Motor Alarm

Posted by kennahbra on 4/21/18 at 1:01 pm
2001 Yamaha 60HP 2 stroke. Boat starts up right away and idles fine and is peeing strong. As soon as I go to get on step, boat kicks back and overheat alarm comes on. come back to an idle and alarm goes off. Motor never kills or stops peeing. What could this be?

Homochitto National Forest Question

Posted by kennahbra on 9/14/17 at 7:04 pm
What is the rule on stands for the homochitto? I have heard that you can leave a stand up all season as long as it has your name on it? Are ladder stands permitted or just tree climbers? Will be hunting the area for the first time this year. Any other tips?

Air in fuel line

Posted by kennahbra on 7/2/17 at 10:13 am
Flat boat has been sitting about a month and fuel primer bulb will not get hard and pump fuel into fuel filter (sight glass will not fill up). Therefore motor will not start. How do i get the air out of the line so that it will build pressure and pump? 12 gallon external fuel tank with yamaha fittings.

Sea Hunt fuse panel

Posted by kennahbra on 5/31/17 at 9:10 pm
Fished Thursday Friday and Saturday and front livewell in boat worked fine. All of the sudden on Sunday the toggle switch for front livewell no longer lights up and pump doesnt come on. Does anyone know where the fuse panel is on this boat? Sea Hunt 2012 XP19

Laplace side spillway launch

Posted by kennahbra on 4/15/17 at 7:26 pm
Anyone use the laplace side of the bonnet carre spillway launch. I always launch on the Norco side bc I remember a few years back someone posting they messed up their trailer pretty bad at that launch and I hardly ever see boats launching on that side but it's closer to where I want to go water wise
I mailed in my application along with finger prints and had mine within three weeks.
