Speechless. As many of us, I grew up on the water. In a boat by myself since I could tow one to the launch.
I have a son now doing the same thing.
That kid was terrified.
I bet that a-hole wouldn’t have acted like that to a grown man.
I wish his trip would have just taken off with his boat and left his sorry arse.

Guy should have his license suspended. Not to mention any charges. He has some serious mental issues.

I just read that the 3 other guys on the captains boat were not customers but were also charter captains themselves and they were all friends. How could they just sit idly by and allow that to happen?

Glad this situation ended without injury or worse, but what would the law say if the kid would of shot and killed the a-hole when he boarded his boat?
The kid was acting cool and non confrontational the whole time
The aggressor may of not of had a weapon visible but announced he was an army ranger
The kid could clearly be fearful of his life
I think he had every right to shoot n kill

It's not that hard to slow down when you go past people that are fishing. Come by people fishing all the time right in the middle of the marsh in the rigolets. Yea it sucks that they are in the middle of the canal but I still slow down.

Man that was pretty bad. What a piece of shite. The kid handled it pretty well. Hope he gets the guys boat as a consolation prize for having to go through that shite.
As for people asking if the kid could have shot him, in Louisiana probably so. Fair chance he'd have gotten shot by the other boat. Would have been worse for everyone involved than it already was.
Fishing and hunting fricking suck now. Personally, I wish guided Fishing and hunting of any kind outside of private property didn't exist at all.
