You damn right it isnt.

I remember one year in high school we had nowhere to stay but I had rented a slip at sand dollar. Took my dads bay boat from joe landing down the cut wakeboarding and tubing the whole way down. Then partied and slept on the upper deck of a house boat. (Girl went to our high school but only her parents were there) we hitched rides in beds of trucks around town for food and to get to bars

I would have never guessed there were so many big Catamarans in the middle gulf. They are coming down in waves. Speaking of which, it was pretty sporty out front this morning (out of Fourchon) so it looks like we won’t get to go pound the endangered snapper tomorrow. If the number of 11” trout I’ve caught over the past month are an indication, the population is pretty healthy. Catching 8-10 to every 1 keeper.

Maybe for fishing but not for all around family fun. Lots to do in the island.

Water was clean at daybreak by the kayak launch. The old man got 6 keeper trout between 13-18" I couldnt get one over 11.75" did get 3 nice sheeps. We went across the channel to the island and with the high water the reds were back there. I got 4 keepers on a gold spoon deep in there. He didnt catch shite but more hardheads on live shrimp. Left at 10:45. Water was dirty by the rocks by that time as well. Didnt even go to the beach with that wind

The wind laid down a bit yesterday, but this weekend it appears to pick back up through Monday.
