Tennessee is $200 for 2 year olds and under, then jumps to $650 when they turn 3. He turns 3 in December

Best gift my grandparents ever gave me. Felt great doing it for my son. I got him in by 3 on the lowest cost.

Good to know he's taken care of to hunt and fish in LA for the rest of his life and only have to buy a federal stamp each year.

Yep got my 2 kids their lifetime license when they were both one year old. My son is now 10 and is going take the hunter's education class next weekend. My daughter hasn't taken a liking to hunting and fishing and she is now a teenager, but she has the lifetime license if she ever takes it up.

She may be hanging out on a dock one summer with some people fishing and whether she is actively fishing or not, she's protected if asked for a license.

Grandparents got me the hunting and fishing combo when I was a kid. Got my little girl the combo earlier this year. She’ll appreciate it more when she’s older. I know mine probably paid for itself a few times already.

Got them for my boys when they were one and went ahead and got one for me once a hunting license wasn't $30 anymore. I think it was $500 for me but with deer, turkey, fish and duck hunting it was $100/year it was a great buy IMO certainly for the kids but I think for me as well.

Yes, got them for my kids before 3 years old. If they ever move away it wont matter, they are covered.

I got my son his for his first B-day at 5 months old.

I figured anything else, he wouldn't even know what it was and it would soon be thrown away.
