Got Mount Back Today

Out of the blue, the taxidermist called at 10AM this morning saying he was finished with my whitetail mount from this past season. I was giddy with excitement and rushed over to pick it up. This buck was taken in Pike Co, IL on a gun hunt and measured 152 and some change. It is the best deer I've ever killed and the story is just as awesome as Hunt's Taxidermy's work on the mount.

I'm still undecided if it is going on a wall at home or in my office. My dachshund was really intrigued with it.
An hour later this is what I discovered:
Huge props to Hunt's Taxidermy in Madisonville for his amazing work in recreating a hunting trip that will never be forgotten.

I dropped it off on November 24th, just before Thanksgiving. The wait wasn't a concern to me. He told me it would be 4-5 months before it was finished and I was good with it.

I had hunts do my tagged BW teal.
Looks beautiful.
Just ran into problems with pickup. I called 6 months after to check on it. He said it was finished for a while, didn't call. Go to pick it up and he gave me the wrong one. I noticed after a drove away there was no tag.
