Always the first step for successfully starting a new exercise regimen. The more you spend, the more likely you'll stick with it.

Go to a "Running Shoe" store, where they'll charge more for the shoes than Academy, because you'll get their expert advice. Buy socks and shorts there too. Maybe get a 10 year subscription to Runner's World.

Also, hire a personal trainer and join a real health club.

Slow down when you get to top of Bridge coming into Krotz Springs, they will find a reason to ticket you.

And be careful on the Morganza Spillway bridge. That seems like an excellent narrow bridge to get run over on.
