A friend is dragging me there. Says they are jumping in the boat. Any reports?

I went today. Caught some pretty big ones out by the long rocks. Horse flies everywhere. Didn't see any sand flies. Bring a fly swatter. Shrimp under a cork. Hopedale marina had real nice shrimp and gave me tons of extra.

I'd wear a bee suit. I had on boat shoes and my ankles are 100% covered in big arse whelps. Our ankles were bleeding yesterday

Last week shrimp were small also. Today most were real nice size. I paid for 60 and must have been given double that. They must have loaded up.

The shrimp I got in Slidell and Rigolets marina on Friday were so small I had to put 2 or 3 on the hook per cast.

My ankles look like the surface an inverted golf ball. Worst I've ever gotten ate up.

We caught fish on some very tiny arse shrimp. As long as they were alive it worked. Didnt want shite to do with artificial or dead shrimp.

Good news is all the boats will be gone by 730. The flies chase off the non-dedicated

Get to the marina early bc the tard factor has been high. People parking all kinda ways and cant figure out who's ready to launch or not. People at he front of the line still loading their boats and havent paid to launch. There are plenty of fish. Bass, reds and specks. You just have to be flexible and, as another poster put it, dedicated.

They tore em up yesterday at Da ROX. Amazing from pictures how many people were fishing on a Monday.
