If you are fishing murkier water then go with the chartreuse, purple, or pink flavor
If you are fishing clear water (outside marsh/island) then go with a lighter more natural color
To be perfectly honest I have caught fish on every color vudu I have tried. I have a friend that swears by the pink.

that bottom color
have caught over 50 trout on the same one without tearing them up, but get into the ladyfish and they will destroy them

Under cork like a DOA or any other shrimp imitation. I have heard of people tight-lining and carolina rig. I just do cork though for these.
