Unfortunately I was at the ‘85 game in Memphis. Coldest game I’ve ever been to! Game and Stadium sucked and concessions ran out of anything warm to drink. Seats were right next to the Baylor band and when we decided to pull the plug and leave they all stood up and were yelling bye LSU bye! ?????
Laugh at Uthug
I always have a wireless hole puncher with me. Thanks for the advice and the options.
Camping at the box
Posted by LSU BOUD on 3/19/23 at 9:27 am
Thinking of taking my grandson to a series at the box this season. We’ll be coming down from Mississippi and wanna do a tailgate and stay around campus so I can give him the whole experience. Is there any place to set up a camper for the weekend around the ball park?

re: rifle scope question - Nightforce SHV or NXS?
Posted by LSU BOUD on 5/14/19 at 2:54 pm to Duckhammer_77
I have a 5.5x22x56 NXS on my Remington 700P and love it. One tough arse scope since I deer hunt with it mostly. So its being bounced around on ATVs and banged against trees and stands. Not an issue it's as true today as it was when I sighted it in three years ago. It has the clearest glass I've ever used.I have no problem seeing 12" steel targets out to 1000 yds (the longest shot Ive taken). I got mine for around $1800 out of California, of all places.

TV coverage in Cabo San Lucas Mexcio area?
Posted by LSU BOUD on 8/27/18 at 8:26 am
Going to California Sur, Mexico this Saturday and not sure if I will be able to get the game on TV in Puerto Los Cabos, Mexico. Anyone know whether you can get an ABC broadcast in Cabo. Will the game be on the watch ESPN app since it is broadcast on ABC? Please can anyone help an old Tiger fan out?

Dish has the Tailgator. Its high initial investment but there is not a contract, turn it on and off as you see fit. Very simple to operate too. Charged by the month. If someone has Dish already you can get it for 7 a month otherwise its about 59 a month. Bought one for my deer camp. Saw a bunch of these at the tailgates last weekend for Sam Houston Game. Folks I talked to loved it.
re: Forming Hunting Club need insurance - advice needed!

Quality Deer Management Association in Georgia. They insure the club we started about 6 years ago plus the land owners @ 1,000,000 for 500 plus acres for about 250 per year. You get an outstanding magazine too.

Just renewed mine for another 5 years.
Kel-Tec P-11 9mm in boots or ISB R1 .45 ACP with jackets or fleece
Carry everywhere they don't have metal detectors; screw the No Guns Allowed signs, I'll claim illiteracy.

We hunt off Red Dog road outside of Thomastown. Bucks started scraping about two weeks. Saw a buck chasing a doe last weekend but doe was having no part of that. We are definitely in the pre rut.

3 or 4 inch PVC pipe with elbow at one end and cap on other, about 5 feet long. ratchet strap it to a tree, fill it up, profit!!!! :dude:
I have the Tundra 5.7 TRD without the 4 wheel drive. Burning pure gas gets me about 20-21 hwy and 16-17 city. With that damn ethanol I get about 3-5 MPG less. This is my third Tundra and I have never had a problem with any of them. Great trucks

My brother and I joined that group with Bill Hulsey years ago. We were young and broke but did what we could when we could, just wanting to be around a bunch of tiger fans. Hulsey treated us like dirt, like we were shite on his shoe he needed to wipe off. Enjoyed the meetings and once we cooked for like 10 buses from BR when Da Tigers played Ole Misey in Jackson one year. But Hulsey's attitude made it unbearable and we said screw him. I could say more but I'll leave at that. Hey Hulsey :doublebird:
Chandeleur Islands mother ship adventure help
Posted by LSU BOUD on 4/19/13 at 6:59 pm
I have a trip to the islands coming up in May and never been there. We'll be staying on a mother ship and fishing from skiffs. Originally from Houma so well versed in saltwater fishing its just been a long time since I've been. Anyone know anything on the mother ship Summer Breeze? Also any opinions on where to fish, baits etc...? I appreciate any help from the masters of the OB.

re: Traveling to an SEC Baseball Series

Dudy Nobel is one of the best baseball facilities in the country, the fans are second only to LSU fans in baseball knowledge and appreciation. Been there for weekend and midweek games. Tickets are usually available at the gate. Hotels in Starkville should be available, if not Columbus or West Point aren't very far of a drive. Great atmosphere for a baseball game. Highly recoomend it.
re: Any experience with Arctic Cat ATV?
Posted by LSU BOUD on 1/24/13 at 7:36 pm to BarDTiger81
I have a 2000 300 4x4 Article Cat. No problems whatsoever till the ethanol crap. Got the carb cleaned and run nothing but pure gas and have no problems. Rides better than buddy's Honda because of independent suspension and has pulled a 27 foot camper around. Has about 1000 miles on it using it first on little mud in hills and hollers. Now I got got muddy river bottoms with lots of mud and standing water and it has never let me down. Raise it 1 1/2 inches to put bigger swamp witches on it and it is still a beast. Suzuki used to make the motors till about 2003 or 2004 and Artic cat made the rest of the bike. Still using the hell out of the bike.

Humm started roughing it while hiking the Appalachian Trail with a backpack and bag to a peice of clear plastic tent to wall tents and cots now in a 27 foot camper with electricity and heat in winter. I am old, my comfort levels have dramatically increased with age.
