Video
IMO: Just something to breakdown since I only use two pins when hunting, "close"(0-25 yds) and "far"(25-35yds)

I would consider it if hunting ram or goat in mountains. Sometimes you get one shot and it is 80 yds in brutal terrain

Does it stop you from getting nervous and shooting mid draw by mistake because thats my damn problem

unnecessary as frick
1. range some trees/features when you get on stand
2. put away range finder
3. shoot deer using features as reference range

Exactly what pawpaw said when scopes came out for rifles.

Put that on a crossbow and then we are talking...

I saw this and thought "man, this just makes it too easy". At least for WT out of a tree stand.
Yep

So what happens if the battery dies from cold weather? Do you still have a pin to reference? Or is it all digital?

I'm a technology whore and think this thing is awesome. However, $1K hard to swallow for a a bow sight when my HHA/hand held combo works fine.

Better video explaining how the Garmin Xero works

Very cool, but some states have regs against electronic sights. For example in Colorado "Scopes, electronic or battery-powered devices cannot be incorporated into or attached to bow or arrow, with the exception of lighted nocks on arrows. Recording devices such as cameras or video recorders attached to bows may be used as long as they do not cast light toward the target or aid in range finding, sighting or shooting the bow."

Now that would make more sense to me.

Agreed, if buying new. I buy used so I came in well under the Xero cost even when I got my Kingpin.
I’ll be in the lookout later this year or next when these start being sold used.
Awesome sight.
