Anyone know if the Gander Outdoors in Breaux Bridge is closed for good?

I know they moved all the RVs out. Had a whole parking lot full beginning of April. Now the lot is empty. Not sure if the store has any merch left in it.
Shame if it closed. Just opened and looked like it was getting supported. Bad deal for BB if it closed.

I never saw many vehicles there. It was kind of a pain to get to with all of the construction. Sucks if they were holding out for that to finish then couldnt float the shut down.

Can't really say I'm surprised, who'd shop there besides local people in Breaux Bridge? No one was going to pass up the Academy one exit over to go pay more money for the same stuff in Breaux Bridge. Someone told me there was a sign on the door saying they temporarily closed due to Covid but why would they haul all the RVs away if they planned to reopen eventually?

nobody can hold a grudge like a coonass either. I'm sure the people down there didn't take kindly to his comments.

Went there when it first opened. Was disappointed in that half the store was RV stuff. Not into RVing. It’s not really an outdoor store IMO

That is what I liked about it they had RV stuff no one else did, even with my good sam it was still pricey unless you hit a sale.

I noticed over the last couple weekends passing in I10 they've brought in more and more RVs and there was some kayaks back out in front of the store.

I still don't see how that location ever makes it with the Academy one exit away.

Not a great location. An outdoor store in Broussard/along HW90 would probably make more since IMO
