Grandsons had a HUGE pile of trees and brush to burn. They decided to climb up on it and soak it with used oil and added some diesel fuel for good measure, then added some gasoline to one area to be certain that it would light. Tannerite was placed it the area with the gasoline. Gasoline vaporized as usual and fumes spread with breeze into brush pile. Tannerite went boom as expected and then brush pile went BOOM in response. Didn't take long to burn up several tons of wood.

This reminds me of something from many years back. Cleared some land and had a large pile of trees to burn...mentioned it at work and a buddy said he could get a couple drums of spent oil from his uncle and I said sure, get it. He shows up with the drums, we pour it in buckets and sloosh it on the pile, I strike a match and flip it in a puddle of the oil and the shite went off almost like gasoline. Morale of the story, his uncle had worked on tractor pulled tractors that ran on some kind of super duper diesel and the oil had the super duper in it. Burned the pile up with much quickness.
