no progress, bringing in "search dogs" from Shreveport.. article has nothing more in it than is on here.... still weird that this has been so quiet.. if somebody on the school board had pooted in a meeting, it would have pages and blogs about it....missing man-nada for a week..

I know dogs can do amazing things. I just wonder what a dog can do after a week in which we have seen precipitation and strong winds from different directions.

i don't know Cb.. GB told me that the "scent" dogs wouldn't work, cause they get on the latest scent when trails cross.. bringing in "search" dogs kinda doesn't sound good to me..

After the first 12 hours this should have went public and on the news. Let a child come up missing bet it will be on in like 5 hours if not less. But a grown arse person. DAYS get real.

They've found nothing. OPSO will be doing a search off Caples road tomorrow. That's all I've heard.

I've seen it on the television news at least twice as well as in the newspaper and online.
I think the main reason that it hasn't gotten even more coverage is that foul play isn't "suspected". The old axiom "if it bleeds, it leads" still holds true.
(I'm not saying that there wasn't foul play, just that authorities aren't thinking that)

Well, here's the thing. When dealing with an adult and no evidence of foul play has been found, the authorities have to keep in mind that it is POSSIBLE that the guy just took off. (BEFORE ANYBODY JUMPS MY CASE, I AM NOT SAYING THIS HAPPPENED. THAT'S JUST HOW THE AUTHORITIES HAVE TO HANDLE IT.) With a child, you know the child doesn't have the right to just take off on their own, but an adult does.

I did not bother to read all these posts, but from a man that worked with him the last 5 or so years at the Mill in West monroe...His car was left at the mill and the only thing taken out of the car was the pistol in the glove box. I was also told by this worker that even his teeth (dentures) were left in the car. I was told as well that he was a big conspiracy theorist. He watched shows that pertained to that and was noted by a couple of people as saying "those guys dont know how to dissapear. If I ever needed to I could do it easily." agian this is all second hand at best to me. There are people who think he ran off, but then agian there are signs that he would not have, like leaving false teeth behind. I imagin that would be harder to replace and necessary. Some think he was abducted and other think a robbery gone bad. In my opion there is way to much small town talk and BS to get any real information, and our news crews here are not the best IMO.
But, I fully trust the source, and dont think that this person would ever joke about a a person missing like this.
