I work with his step son. He's the soldier in the photo. Kenneth and his wife live in Calhoun. There are woods all around the house. My understanding is that he has always battled depression.

Nope. Like has already been posted, he left work saying he was sick. His wallet, keys, and meds were left in his truck.

Last Thursday they searched the area with bloodhounds and found nothing. I was told the problem with bloodhounds, is that if they come across another human's scent, they'll start tracking that scent instead. So tomorrow they're bringing in "live scent dogs". Supposedly these dogs are specifically trained to track just one specific scent.

I heard some second hand info that leads me to believe that there will not be a good outcome. I'm not posting it because I wasn't told this directly from the son. But like I said, he has always battled depression.

The holidays always seem to be tainted by a story such as this one. I can't imagine the thoughts and fears this family is having to deal with at what should be a joyfull time.

I think most people are drawing that same conclusion based on the information known. Let's hope not. It ain't over till its over.

Something seems to be out of the ordinary on this story. It seems to be getting little to no coverage in the local media. This type of thing would normally have all the talking heads drawing all sorts of wild conclusions.

My friend sent an updated picture. They are resuming the search tomorrow with the SAR dogs. The area is around Calhoun. Please spread the word. Thanks!

Anything earth shattering that you feel like we need to know?

No, just saying since so many people were saying there was no coverage of the incident.

Yeah I know. I was wondering if the news report mentioned any other details that have not been disclosed.
