I'm by no means trying to one up you, but I was baptized and given last rites in a NICU in the 80s. The people who do that day in and day out are very special indeed.

Yes they are. I pray every night for them. Trevor was baptized, but not given last rites in NICU.

In med school I thought for about a week I wanted to do neonatology.

It takes a truly special person to endure that type of pain watching over those babies. Those RN's spend more time with them than their actual mothers. They enjoy the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
