Honestly I'd rather a 34. Plenty of room, easier to trailer and better fuel economy

If none of those were a factor then 42. I would want quads on 37, so might as well go 42 and get more fuel and room

I’ll be that guy..,40’ Invincible. Better handling, fit & finish and good blend of the 37 and 42 from size perspective.

Yeah I didnt even bother looking for one for sale. The wait is a little over two years. That will give me enough time to sell a few of my kids to pay for it.

Must be nice. I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna pay for a powerhead rebuild.

Are you in Baton Rouge? I've rebuilt a few. I'll help you out if you have a workspace.

Yep...If I had the money and were buying today, it would be the 33 or 34 w twin 350's for the reasons stated above.

Fished on them several times w MGFC out of Venice and that boat was hard to beat. Plenty of room for Captain and a crew of 6, still hauled arse and was comfy.

To answer the OP, out of the 37 or 42, I'd go with the 42. Both prob need the quads so why not get the extra few feet.

I've been on hull #2 for the 33 and it was amazing.

Since your getting quads anyway, I'd go with the 42'. It would give extra room for second row seating or the rod holder stand in the back. Although, bean bags may be more comfy than second row seating.
