Just ordered a new coffee cup from RTIC. I sent YETI an email on their "Contact Us" page asking them to delete my account and all of my associated information and confirm via email.

Here we go again. This is a good move by Yeti. The NRA and their fear tactics are obnoxious

Who says that they are against gun rights? I don't buy a membership to the NRA every year but that doesn't mean I'm against gun rights. For all that we know the NRA could have been doing some screwball shite and Yeti got fed up with it. I don't own anything yeti but y'all are jumping the gun on this before all the info even comes out. Quit being a bunch of crybabies and wait for the facts.
My gut reaction is to let this play out and determine 1) if this is true, and 2) why Yeti made this decision. When a company decides to not remain a sponsor of an organization, it does not automatically follow that they are suddenly against that organization. Sometimes it's simply a matter of business and using revenues as they see most appropriate. I have no idea in this case, but I won't be quick to judge or declare wrongdoing.

For all you guys burning your coolers and trashing them over a Facebook post for the NRA... I am actually kind of upset with The NRA for trying to spin a story.
From YETI:
“Truth is, we did not cut ties with the NRA or the Friends of the NRA. We changed the structure of our discount program to better align it with the business. I’m not happy that the NRA would choose to mischaracterize and sensationalize this. Know that we do support the Second Amendment, gun owners and their pursuits. Please stick to these talking points publically and feel free to point out your own experience with our brand and people. See below:
As you know, YETI was built on a passion for the outdoors and, as we always have, YETI continues to actively support hunters, anglers, and the broader outdoor community. We believe in the Second Amendment and the Constitution of the United States.
Recently, we made a number of business, pricing and dealer decisions to simplify and clarify our product distribution. Based upon these, we ended a wide range of legacy vendor programs, which affected a number of different organizations. The conclusion of these programs in no way impacts our ongoing support of our consumers’ passions, as YETI continues to work with many organizations that promote the conservation and management of wildlife and habitat restoration.”

The right:

It's like Yeti is completely blind to who there main customers are. Im not saying you have to cater to your customers political leanings, but why would you even publicly say this. Just don't say anything and keep the status quo and you continue to do well. This is just stupid.

Read the post reds on reds posted above. All this is fake news. Fake news travels faster than the truth. Unfortunately for yeti there will be many people that won't see the truth
Yeti should have said they were just sick of all the mail and phone calls they get from the NRA and most people would have agreed
