Someone posted a clip of the "regs" pointing out how they say you can only flood harvested crop land. The problem is, the sentence before it says you cam hunt over flooded standing crops.

you cant hunt on first year Millet that has been manipulated
manipulation does NOT mean flooding it means disking, shredding, etc
you can hunt ANY flooded unharvested ag crop Millet, corn, anything just cant manipulate it

ETA: Now that dumbass is interpreting law. Says that if they meant for you to be able to hunt any flooded crop, they would have said so. How much more specific does "flooded standing crops" have to be for this guy?

My favorites are still the guy saying that flooding a field is considered a herbicide because you use water to control weeds in rice and the other one saying that when USFWS speaks of flooding, they only mean natural flooding by rain.

Seems like they are worried too much about what is going on in other states instead of what is happening right here in LA. The influx in crawfishing, cane, loss of habitat, and overall pressure are bigger factors in our wintering population. Birds are getting blasted from every levee they fly over and every pothole they try to land in. Birds still come here, but they leave fast. They've had trackers on birds that show up, and when the shooting starts, they haul tail back north where they can find refuge. Good hunting can still be had here, but you have to keep good habitat and stay away from pressure. Like others have mentioned, they are all over the map and are comaining about things that they'll never change.

Nah baw, those are only problems because we aren't getting all the birds we should because of flooded corn. None of that would be an issue if they stopped flooding corn.
I like how Kevin says if someone wants to go in there and have a civil debate and discuss facts, he has no problem with it. Is he stupid, or just not reading that page? Everyone that disagrees with them gets ganged up on and hit with the Flyway Lawyer's legal interpretations.

Goins and Kevin Fontenot have to be the two biggest idiots I've ever seen. Misinterpretation of regulations, complete disregard for scientific studies that din't fit their agenda. Fontenot talks about the FFL being a place where people are able to learn "Pure Facts" from waterfowl hunters, versus the biases or skewed "studies". Ironic, given how biased they are on their chosen issue.
