Seaguar - best so far, but still sucks
Stren - crap X 10
Trilene - crap x 11

It doesn't have less memory than mono? I thought that was one of the big selling points

I found that the more expensive brands of fluorocarbon line have a lot less memory....I like toray the most.....but sunline and megabass dragon call are great lines as well....never put fluorocarbon on a spinning reel

I would have bet money that those three words had never been placed in that order before.

Its expensive for sure, but its good line......acts like mono but you get the benefits of fluorocarbon.

I've been using this in 7# on spinning gear for a few years now - love it. Senkos, Drop Shotting, and Flick Shaking. I prefer casting reels for other stuff.

After reading this flouro shootout with Trilene XL as a comparison, I can easily say my flouro experiment is over.

Poor knot strength. False claim of no stretch. Inconclusive visability and handling like wire. No thank you.

Oh, I use that a lot. For this though, I get so much line twist, i want to try the tiny swivels.

If I designed a knot that you can reel through your rod eyes and that also eliminated line twist I'd still be poor.

I had to cut my line twice last time I crappie fished.

Good read. Interesting how some of the highest priced ones sucked it up. All I buy is BPS so I feel a little better about my ability to know good line.

I was thinking that until knot strength. Is it any good to test over your rating, but then have terrible(relative) knot strength? I kinda got lost and came to only one conclusion: flouro sucks.

Agreed. There are times I need some line that will sink in clear water though and Im still gonna use it then. Thats about all I use it for now.
